Accommodating staff made our experience slightly better.

The hotel has a tiny check-in area, overcrowded with luggage. Our initial room had malfunctioning hot water, forcing us to switch rooms under duress. our taxi was inappropriately directed, making our arrival a daunting 30-minute trek through the streets of Venice.

the breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fresh pastries and made-to-order options, and the hotel is situated just a short walk from the stunning Peggy Guggenheim Collection and the beautiful Basilica of St Mary of Health, making it perfect for city wanderers like me.

We had a solid stay! The location was sweet as, close to the sights. But I reckon the breakfast could've opened earlier than 8:30. Chur to the lovely staff!

The staff are super attentive, even offered fresh pastries right at our table for breakfast,, which is not something you experience every day. I felt like I was at home, not just a hotel, and they kept checking up on me to see if I needed anything else.

dd724 is def the hidden gem of venice! the atmosphere is warm and cozy, perfect for chilling after visiting museums. the staff are super friendly! especially loved how helpful all the staff were. the breakfast is yum with fresh pastry and eggs made to order. Loved the spacious comfy room with a canal view. felt like home.

Everything was delightful, especially the cozy common area for a relaxing evening and the lovely selection of teas in my room. Enjoyed the peace the quaint garden offers and the charm of the shared kitchen area, where I could easily grab a snack. The only hitch was some noise at night, but it wasn't a big deal at all. 😌

There's a lot of scaffolding around the building, completely blocking the views from many rooms, which is a real letdown. Plus, some other rooms have issues with noise—you can hear doors slamming and chatter from the corridors. Hot water supply can be hit or miss, especially during busy mornings, and the check-in area is cramped, making it tough to navigate when there are multiple guests arriving at once. The room I initially got was also in a different building, which felt disconnected and came with a moldy smell. If you're looking for a peaceful night's sleep, this might not be the spot, as soundproofing is lacking.

i've stayed in venice before, but charming house really exceeded my expectations. the atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were incredibly helpful, especially at breakfast. perfect location near the guggenheim, made it easy to explore!
